Sidoakur Village

Hi Guys! Welcome to our Blog! We are Ayu , Chika and Vinny. We are from SMA Stella Duce 2 Yogyakarta. We make this Blog to complete our task for PKL’s report. Enjoy with our Blog. May this blog can give all of you's some knowledges.

Some time ago, we were getting experience in one place has named “Desa Wisata Sidoakur”. If you come in that place you can found a lot of great experience because there are many Culture that is show in there , especially Culture of Java.  Location of “Desa Wisata Sidoakur” is in Godean , Sleman , Yogyakarta.

We were in ‘Desa Wisata Sidoakur’ for two days and one night. Just a little while but we got a lot of lessons from there. We will to tell all of you’s about “Desa Wisata Sidoakur” in detail , as long as we get.

1.       Topeng Craft

There are craft called "Topeng". Topeng is make from coconuts that have dried up. Usually, “Topeng” shaped like a face monkey.

2.       Kenduren.

Kenduren is a ceremony which showing gratitude for what has been obtained. Kenduren held at weddings, graduation, etc. Usually,  Kenduren form of food that has been blessed.

3.       Gejok Lesung

Gejok Lesung is sound of music traditional. Gejok Lesung need four to five people to play it. The instrument is make of woods. Gejok Lesung sound created from a mixture of woods that is struck to form a rhythm.

4.       Macapat

Macapat is one of song traditional of Java. Macapat using the Java language .I think to sing this song , will be very difficult because Macapat have complicated tone.

5.       Jamu Instant

Jamu is one of beverage traditional of Java. Jamu made from sugar , kencur , water and lemongrass. Jamu also can be a medicine traditional and it doesn’t cause anything.

6.   Woven Bamboo

Woven bamboo is hand crafted from bamboo fibers and it is producing a basket and the others.

Well , those things above are we get from “Desa Wisata Sidoakur”. So interesting right?

After that, we will tell you a little bit about “Desa Wisata Sidoakur”. Okey. Let’s See!

Sidoakur village is one of the tourist village develop cultural tourism and the environment.

So , not only introduce the culture, but also teaches environmental awareness. Besides the culture and the arts, this village also has two Javanese house that became a reception center. Both the house has named are Joglo and Limasan. 

            I believe that you come to "Desa Wsiata Sidoakur" you can be comfort and you don't wanna back  to home. Is that true? Yes , it's true because i've been felt it.  If you wanna enjoy the place, just come and feel by your ownself. Believe me! Because I'm not a liar!. Let's go!
